Education
Public education is the foundation of opportunity—and Arizona has chronically underinvested in it.
I grew up attending public and charter schools across Tucson. I’ve worked directly in education access and know what happens when systems fail students who are doing everything right.
The Arizona Legislature controls education funding. When it falls short, students, educators, and families pay the price.
As a State Senator, I will fight to:
Fully fund public K-12 schools, including teacher and staff pay.
Expand early childhood education and childcare so families aren’t forced to choose between work and care.
Invest in universities and community colleges alike to keep higher education affordable.
End the unchecked expansion of the ESA voucher program and restore accountability to education funding.
