Southern Arizona is already living with the consequences of climate change: extreme heat, water scarcity, and pollution that disproportionately harms working-class communities.

The Arizona Legislature sets water policy, land-use frameworks, and environmental protections. These decisions are not abstract—they are about survival.

As a State Senator, I will fight to:

• Protect Arizona’s groundwater and surface water with enforceable safeguards.

• Stop reckless development that ignores water reality.

• Invest in heat resilience, including shade, cooling strategies, and public health responses.

• Hold polluters accountable and prevent communities from becoming sacrifice zones.

• Support clean energy solutions that create jobs and protect public health.
